SAN in Holland

NIXON, TOMTOM, SMART & SCALPERS

A travel journal inspired in the life of a young entrepreneur and presenting snapshots of his daily life. The story begins in Holland, where ROXandSAN was for three weeks and went by car to every place that caught our attention.. In this busy country we needed a compact eco car, so our pick was a white Smart. Like always, we never travel without a navigation system. We used our most recent acquisition, from TOMTOM, the 1005 GO LIVE. It made it easy to pick the ferry to Texel, to find central parking places (everybody knows how tricky it can be to park in Holland..!), shopping centers, chic restaurants and of course to find the way to the Golf Course.

Together with snapshots from the places he's been in and daily moments, the travel journal features a small style guide of our character. We present several looks and accesories that reflect San's personal style, from his favourite brands.

From San's travel notes..

"Small Amsterdam- that's how people call Haarlem and I agree. Haarlem is great! It is much more easier to reach by car/ Smart then Amsterdam.. my TOMTOM helped me find my way to an underground parking garage right in the center of Haarlem.

After parking I walked through this city as if i lived there and i just had the feeling that i belonged there. The people were, again, so nice to talk with! I chatted with a lady that asked me if i was from there and i almost answered yes!.. She told me about the history of Haarlem and the little family stores. I still want to thank her for the great talk but unfortunately i didn't have my phone with me to write down her address and get the chance to thank her for the inspiring talk.

After a few days in Amsterdam my conclusion is that it makes you a different person. If you walk through the streets or The Vondelpark you feel good! You get the vibe of a city that really is alive and gives you what you are expecting..Amsterdam is Fashion. Everywhere you see people dressed in their unique style that creates a romantic city with character. And yes i visited the Red Light District, i walked around the big streets with the famous windows and my conclusion is that Amsterdam has so much more to offer than that, and should be remembered for it!..

My next stop, Texel. I was attracted by the quiet ambience of the place..a small island located in the province of North Holland. Despite of its size, most of the activities here are in some way related to tourism.. Cycling, walking, swimming, golf, horse riding and flying lessons. So, if you are in the mood for something different,Tessel Air is your opportunity to get a pilot's license. I was really tempted to combine flying lessons with a relaxing stay at Texel next time i am in Holand, why not?"
