#1 History & Charm

Perhaps one of the most obvious reasons we think pre-wedding photos in Amsterdam rock, is that it is such a captivating city. The moment you start walking around you will be charmed by it’s luxurious canal houses, rich architecture, and bike friendly culture. It’s hard not to fall in love with Amsterdam and want to take apart of it home with you!

" Beautiful scenery all year round  "

#2 Beautiful scenery all year round

Amsterdam is attractive in all seasons around the year, from summer untill winter. Whether is the golden light of the summer, the soft pastels and bright greens of the spring tulips or the warm tones of autumn leaves, the city is covered in lovely colours! The warm season lasts from april to September, with August being the one of the warmest months, and the cold season lasts from November to March.

#3 Breathtaking Canals and Bridges

Amsterdam’s canals are perhaps one of the most famous features of the city. One of our favourite things to do during a photo session is to go for a walk along the most enchanting areas of the city and the canals.. And we guarantee, this will make for some stunning pre-wedding photos in Amsterdam.

#4 Amazing Flower Fields

If you are looking for a quiet place and some romantic spots to get those intimate and relaxed shots, going to one of the many parks of the city is definitely an option. Our favourite is the Vondelpark, located right  in the heart of the city and with amazing scenery.

#5 Gorgeous Surroundings

And if the city’s parks are not enough, and you want to escape from the urban feeling, there are many options around Amsterdam. Just minutes away from the city you will find beaches, windmills and stunning countryside, all perfect for a photo session.

You will be fascinated by the dreamy windmills at Zaanse Schans, the famous tulip fields in the Keukenhof, and the endless beaches at Bloemendaal or Egmond aan Zee, a bit futher away.

Spring Engagement photos Amsterdam and Keukenhof | AC & FM

It’s finally spring in Holland and we’re so excited to share the engagement photos we recently did in Amsterdam and Keukenhof with this lovely couple from Singapore. Before arriving to Amsterdam, they spent a couple of days in Newcastle, where we did the first part of their engagement session. We love to travel for engagements, elopements or destination weddings and discover new places. Newcastle was a great experience and we can’t wait to see more of the U.K. We have a great job, right? And we couldn’t be more grateful for crossing path with so many beautiful people and capturing their love story, no matter where!

Back to Holland, we started the photo session in the center of the city, strolling around the canals and making a few stops on the way for some shots It was pretty chill on that particular day, but Fang Min and Aloysius were extremely brave and tried to stay warm for as long as they could in between shots.

After that we went to the famous Dutch flower fields in Keukenhof, not far from the city. The tulips were not there yet, but we were lucky to find lots of yellow and purple daffodils.
